BuilderMT and Sales Simplicity cease all operations on 1 July 2027. This guide covers migrating your BuilderMT data to MyConstruct with Bridge.
What's changing on 1 July 2027
From 1 July 2027, BuilderMT and Sales Simplicity will no longer be accessible, and support for both ends. Plan to have your data moved before then.
Migration steps
- Prepare. Work through the checklist below.
- Connect. Our team connects Bridge to your BuilderMT database, usually in less than a day.
- Migrate. Your BuilderMT data moves into MyConstruct 1:1.
- Check. Compare a few jobs, schedules and orders against BuilderMT.
- Switch over. Your team carries on in MyConstruct.
If you want to keep BuilderMT open for reference while your team settles in, you can do that until 1 July 2027.
What comes across from BuilderMT
- Jobs
- Schedules
- Suppliers
- Orders
- BOQs
- Debtors
- And more
Bridge works with all versions of BuilderMT.
Sales Simplicity
Bridge connects to BuilderMT only. If you use Sales Simplicity, plan that data separately before 1 July 2027.
How setup works
Connect once, then the migration runs automatically. Our team sets Bridge up with you, and there's nothing to run by hand.
Most setups work, whether BuilderMT runs on an office server or is hosted. Talk to us about yours.
Before you start: checklist
- Pick your own switch-over date, ideally before 1 July 2027, but if you need a hand afterward, we can still connect and help you out.
- Find out where your BuilderMT database runs and who manages it (in-house or your IT provider).
- List who uses BuilderMT day to day: purchasing, scheduling, supervisors and accounts.
- Pick a few current jobs to check first after the migration.
Getting your team started
Purchasing and scheduling are usually the heaviest BuilderMT users. These guides cover the same work in MyConstruct:
- Job scheduling using Checklists and Gantts
- Sending and managing Purchase Orders
- Contacts and Groups (suppliers and trades)
